The Technical Stuff
There is a minimum order charge of £10.00. When you place an order we require a 50% booking fee or a minimum booking fee of £10.00 (whichever is greater) to secure items for your date – which is non–refundable
A 50% or £10.00 damage deposit (whichever is the greater) will be required on collection.
Sorry we do not deliver but items can be collected on Thursdays and returned on Mondays. Remember – you will need a vehicle large enough to accommodate your order!
HOW IT ALL WORKS
A SUMMARY OF: – Collection/Booking Fees/Damage Deposits/Payments
We work on a collection basis only; we do not deliver or set up. Collection and return are from Toftwood, Dereham, Norfolk.
Collections are on Thursdays and returns are on Mondays (unless otherwise arranged with us), by appointment only, between the hours of 10.30am and 7.30pm and return is likewise, (hourly slots so that everyone doesn’t turn up at the same time). Please note: unless arrangements have been made at the time of booking, we are shut on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays for returns and collections.
There is a minimum order charge of £10.00.
Booking Fees – When you place an order we require a 50% booking fee (£10 minimum, up to a maximum of £50) to secure your order, which is non –refundable – this is part of the hire fee.
Booking Fees must be paid within 1 week of placing your order, after that we will not hold items for you.
There is a damage deposit of 50% on orders of £20 or over. If your order is less than £20 the damage deposit will be £10. However if you hire the milk churns there is a standard damage deposit of £100 for each set of churns, plus 50% of anything else you may wish to hire. You get this back when everything is returned in a satisfactory condition.
Payment is either by bank transfer or cash in person. Any outstanding balances have to be paid 1 week in advance of collection unless we have agreed you can pay cash on collection.
When we have agreed on the items you wish to hire we will do an official booking form/contract for which we will need your email address and mobile telephone number.
On collection of items you will be asked for ID with proof of address. You will also be asked to sign a disclaimer to say you have read our full terms and conditions and agree to them (which will be emailed to you), and you are happy with the state of the items before you take them away.
On return the items will be checked and any damage or loss will be deducted from your damage deposit. Should the damage deposit not cover loss/damage you will be asked to pay the extra amount.
